Kimberley Process

2024

A modern image for a modern cause.

Mission: unite administrations, civil societies, and industries to reduce the flow of conflict diamonds used to finance wars against governments around the world.

The current state.

The Kimberley Process is a multilateral trade regime established in 2003 with the goal of preventing the flow of conflict diamonds. The core of this regime is the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) under which States implement safeguards on shipments of rough diamonds and certify them as “conflict-free".

Design by Drü.

The new Kimberley Process logo is made with a clean-minimal design to emphasize the mission clarity and confidence for the purchase of diamonds. The new seal depicts a diamond symbol in the center with the outline of Africa in reflection. The outer rings are fixated in a way to prevent any sort of counterfeiting or tampering, similar to the way bank notes have built-in security features.
